As the owner and Executive Chef of Decadent since 1997, Michael intimately understands the Toronto food and event landscape, and along with the Decadent team, prides himself on designing menus and events to accommodate every budget, style and taste.
His conscientious style and adherence to classical French fine dining was honed in the finest restaurants in Europe, where he trained in Five Star establishments for four years before returning to his native Toronto.
Michael's philosophy is built on the belief that you can only cook the best food with the best ingredients, and he strives to use fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients whenever possible. It's a philosophy you can taste, and one that keeps clients returning over and over again.
