I've heard both positive and negative consumer reports on leafguards. I will be investing in eavestrough installation and am curious about the leafguard attachment.

I would recommend you give Majestic a call. I think it depends on your environment and local whether. I haven't used a leaf guard before, so I can't really comment on their efficiency.
